Adra does not have a strategic spotpoint and the rebels’ retreat was elaborated with him. The retreat aimed at taking the regime forces to the battle area

-Protect 400 rebels ‘ fighters who were taken to an area which is more dangerous than Adra and where they are needed.
-Lure the regime forces to those two places where the ambushes happened and allowed the destruction of the regime operation room where he believed that a russian officer was killed. He added that this officer was in charge of russian missiles which the regime received 20 days earlier. This officer met with the regime officers in this operation room i.e. 10 days before the blast.

-Regime forces were using Adra AL Ummaliya as a decoy to force rebels leave the Dukhaniya.

Of two strategies the one is to inflict the regime forces losses because the regime cannot bear anymore human losses, as compared to the strategy where as rebels keep the areas they captured.

The regime will regret to have attacked Adra AL Ummaliya; He lost men, equipments and a spotpoint. Explanation : Regime run a attack strategy of Jobar from 3 axis: Deir Salman, Deir Al Asafeer and Dukhaniya and Adra. Adra was a secondary front line attack as the main front line attack to Jobar. As the regime failed to recapture Dukhaniya, he was forced to enter Al Adra with a TV crew. and publicize a victory. Adra was used as a decoy to weaken Dukhaniya because he promessed Jaramaan loyalists that Dukhaniya will be recaptured within 24 hours. The regime is aware that as long rebels are in Dukhaniya, Kashkoul and Kabbas, they will enter the captial. Nowaday, rebels could enter r Damascus but the regime threat to destroy the city is holding them back. The regime planned 4 monthrs ago to destroy the city with 50 aircrafts each loaded with 4 Tons of bombs .

Cevap: Çekilmenin amacı rejim güçlerini çatışma alanına çekmekti.
-Adra'dan daha tehlikeli bir bölgeye geçmiş olan 400 mücahidi korumak.
-Rejim güçlerini baskınların olduğu bölgeye çekmek ve aralarında bir rus subayının da bulunduğuna inanılan operasyon odasını yok etmek. Bu subayın rejimin 20 gün önce edindiği rus füzelerinden sorumlu olduğu düşünülüyor. Bu subay patlamadan yaklaşık 10 gün önce rejim subaylarıyla burada biraraya geldi.
- Rejim güçleri Adra Umalliye'yi mücahitlerin Dukkaniya'yi terk etmeleri için yem olarak kullanıyordu.
İki stratejiden biri de mücahitlerin aldıkları bölgeleri ellerinde tutmasındansa rejime kayıp verdirmekti çünkü rejimin daha fazla adam kaybına tahammülü yok.
